Donna G. Noel

Donna G. Noel, 63, of Hanover, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at her home. She was the wife of David M. Noel to whom she shared 33 years of marriage.  Born January 23, 1956 in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Catherine (Orndorff) Baadte.  Donna was retired from Hanover Foods with 37 years of service. She was an avid reader enjoyed playing cards, working puzzles and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.  Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, Kellie Turner and husband Rick of Yorkville, IL, Randy Hnatkowicz and wife Laura of Spring Grove, Chris Hnatkowicz and wife Shannan of Virginia Beach, VA and Doug Noel of McSherrystown; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and eight siblings, Donald Baadte of East Berlin, Diana Fogle of Hanover, Denise Baadte of Hanover, Douglas Baadte of Hanover, her twin sister Dawn Merrbaugh of Abbottstown, Danette Bastress of East Berlin, David Baadte of Hanover and Doreen Mummert of Hanover and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Lepley.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Avenue, McSherrystown. Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown. Friends and relatives will be received Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. to the time of the service.  Contributions in memory of Donna may be made to SpiriTrust Lutheran Hospice, 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., York, PA 17404.

My deepest condolences love and prayers to all involved I love Donnie she was my best friend for many years. My heart wrenches for you but am happy that you are at peace and I look forward to seeing you in the resurrection. Im hurt that I had to find out on fb a week later and didn't get to see you or be a part of your service. I love you with all my heart.your friend angle you and I knoe what that means.
