Laurie B. Scott, 57, of McSherrystown, entered into God’s eternal care on Friday, January 4, 2019 at UPMC Pinnacle-Hanover. She was the wife of George M. Scott to whom she was married 40 years.
Born July 2, 1961 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Patricia E. (Wege) Good and Thomas L. Good and wife Linda of Hanover.
Laurie was a 1979 graduate of Hanover High School and worked as a phone sales representative, a manicurist, and part time clerk at South Hills Golf Course snack bar. Laurie previously participated in the Foster Parent Program. She enjoyed going to the beach, taking cruises and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband, father and step-mother is one son, Alec Scott and wife Abbey of Lancaster; one grandson, Aslan Scott; a sister, Kimberly Smith and husband Robert of Little River, SC and nephew, Jarrod Smith of Durham, NC.
Service and burial will be held privately.

George, I just received the news of Laurie. I am so sorry for your loss. I also was a classmate of hers. I can only hope God is helping you through this. Our sympathy goes out to your families as well.

I am so sorry to hear of Laurie's death I used to work with her at PNC Bank/Gettysburg National Bank years ago. She was a dear sweet lady. My sincere condolences to her family.
