Mark was like a brother to me. I have known him since I was 9 years old. He was like a Harold clone. He could hug like no other and fish better than most. He loved his children so much. I hung with him, his dad, and my kindred spirit, his sister,Jane so many times. He always made feel like a part of the family. I will miss him so much. but luckily, I was able to know him. I am so happy he found so much love with Sharon and her family. Lobsters and oysters for all of us.

Mark may you rest in peace as you join the other angels. My boys have great memories of Gray Gables and the beach each summer. We will always think fondly if them. Love Poom.

Dear Weatherby family, At this difficult and painful time please accept my condolence and deep regrets for your loss and I like to share where I found comfort and hope when our enemy death took my entire family. I found this in what I read in Jehovah Gods word the Bible at John5:28,29 for there it tells us we'll see our love ones again in the resurrection when Jesus brings them back here on earth and Isaiah25:8 states that this enemy death will be swallowed up forever. These scriptures along with others help me cope with my loss and get through each day because now I know I'll see my love ones again and so can you. I wanted to share this with you now when comfort and hope is needed hoping that this will help you also in some way for this is my purpose in sharing this with you at this time and please know that I do share your grief and hope you'll feel free to let me know if this helped. Hoping to hear from you. Sincerely, GM

This summer, Mark came and helped my group mission trips crew build a porch for our resident. I got to know Mark over the hours of nailing and repairing. Mark ate lunch with my crew one afternoon and was telling us about his life and cancer and one thing he said really stood out to me. Mark said that "attitude is everything" and he showed proof of this as he kept a good attitude about life even after being diagnosed with cancer. God put Mark in my life to teach me to always have a positive outlook on life and make the most of your situation no matter how bad it may seem. I pray that all of Mark's family and friends can find peace in knowing that Mark is in good hands and that he is in a better place now. With love, Mark's friend from Ohio

Want to express my condolences to Mark's family and friends. He was truly a good man and though how we met wasn't under the greatest of circumstances I counted him as a friend. Even in his trying times he was always concerned about my well being. I'm certainly grateful to have made his acquaintance. God's speed my friend.

I knew Mark for a few years. He was always kind and helpful to me. He was always willing to take the time to mentor me. When he could no longer work, I reached out to him to help with a workcamp that we were having in our community. Not only did Mark help, but he took the lead in an important position to get the work done. Mark never said he couldn't do anything. He showed up to all the meetings and basically took over the position that I asked him to lead and did it all himself. He never wanted anyone to know that he had cancer. He just wanted to help. Even when we had issues during the Work Camp, I could just call him and he would immediately come to wherever we needed him. I don't know if I knew I had stage 4 cancer and that I wasn't going to survive, that I would go out of my way to help other people. I would probably be selfish and just want to do for myself. But that's the man that Mark was. God bless you my friend!
