Gloria M. McMaster

Gloria M. McMaster, 83, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of David W. McMaster who died February 4, 1993.  Born April 20, 1935 in Hanover, she was the daughter of Luis J. and Anna E. (Good) Wolfe.  Gloria retired from Black & Decker, Manchester, MD with over 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, American Legion, Eagles, Hanover Home Assoc. and McSherrystown Moose. She enjoyed “Stamping Up” card creations and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.  Surviving are seven children; Donald W. McMaster and wife Karon of NC, David A. McMaster and wife Debra of IL, Douglas P. McMaster and wife Diana of MN, Diane Bollinger and husband Corey of Spring Grove, Debora A. McMaster of Hanover, Doreen E. McMaster of Hanover and Denise E. Bechtel and husband Bruce of Littlestown, 12 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown with Rev. Matthew Morelli officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. Friends and Family will be received on Monday 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home with prayers at 7:30 p.m.  Serving as pallbearers will be: Benji and Jeremy Bollinger, Tim Bechtel, Davey, Troy and Kris McMaster.  Contributions in memory of Gloria may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
