Cynthia A. Kelley

Cynthia A. Kelley, 66, of Abbottstown, entered into God’s eternal care Monday, December 4, 2017 at the York Hospital. Born October 16, 1951 in Hanover, she was the daughter of Eva M. (Groft) Gebhart of McSherrystown and the late Leonard F. Gebhart. Cindy was employed at Tim-Bar Corporation in Hanover. She was a 1969 graduate of Hanover High School. Cindy enjoyed going on vacations and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her mother are two children, Lisa Lady and husband James of Aspers and Robin Kelley-Lorah and husband Chris of Gettysburg; six grandchildren, Emma, Kylee, Seth, Paxton, Ella and Shelby; and four siblings, Leonard Gebhart II, Anthony Gebhart, Joan Sterner and Joyce Potts. Following cremation a Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave. McSherrystown, with Rev. Charles L. Persing officiating. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown. Friends and relatives will be received 10 to 11a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Cindy may be made to Murphy Funeral Home.

Sadden to learn of Cindy's passing may the the lord give the family strength at this differcult time. We were co-workers at timbar. She was a pleasure to work with made me laugh with her funny jokes. Will be sorely missed may she rest in peace.
