Annette M. Storms, 49, of New Oxford, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at her home. She was the companion of Daniel J. Bahn of New Oxford. Born March 14, 1968 in Hanover, she was the daughter of John C. Groft Jr. and Margaret M. (Helwig) Groft of New Oxford. Annette worked as a daycare provider for many years. She was a 1986 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, McSherrystown. Annette was a member of the McSherrystown Moose, New Oxford Social Club, Spring Grove VFW and McSherrystown Fish and Game. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle and spending time with her many friends and family, especially time with her grandchildren. Surviving also are two children; Courtney N. Storms and her companion Travis Garman of Largo FL and Brittany M. Storms of New Oxford, two grandchildren; Braydon and Brielle Williams, three siblings; Diane Groft of Spring Grove, John F. Groft and wife Melissa and Suzanne Etzler and husband Robert all of Hanover, her paternal grandfather; John C. Groft Sr., her companion Dan’s parents; David and Linda Bahn and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Avenue, McSherrystown with Rev. Charles L. Persing officiating. Burial will be private. Friends and relatives will be received Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Annette may be made to Goofy’s of McSherrystown Fish and Game, 2 Fish and Game Rd, New Oxford, PA 17350, an organization that assist’s members of the community that are in need.
