Veronica A. “Vicki” Hagerman, 73, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of John E. “Jack” Hagerman, to whom she was married 54 years. Born April 3, 1943 in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Myrtle (Kane) Orndorff. Vicki was retired from the Bon-Ton. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in McSherrystown, a 1961 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Tambre Nace and husband Robert of Abbottstown, John E. Hagerman Jr. and Isaac T. Hagerman and wife Jennifer all of Hanover; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha, Jessica, Makayla, Marissa, Dominic, Deidra and Dalton; two great-grandchildren, Kasey and Kayden; three siblings, Ann Zorbach, Helena Busick and husband Donald, and Audrey Walton; and two sisters-in-law, Patricia and Jean Orndorff. She was preceded in death by seven siblings, Joyce Noel, Thomas, Vincent, James, John, Wilfred and Wallace “Pete” Orndorff. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Annunciation Church in McSherrystown, with Rev. Charles L. Persing as celebrant. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives will be received Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Contributions in memory of Vicki may be made to Annunciation Church Memorial Fund, 26 N. 3rd St., McSherrystown, PA 17344.

We love you so very much Mommom. Mom said that you and Uncle Jim are already having fun together. My greatest memories will be spending long days with you on the boat and rocking together in your chair. I never got too old to be rocked in your lap. I'm so lucky to have children that got to meet their Great Grandma. Rest sweetly and watch over us. We love you. Sam, Brad, Kasey, and Kayden

Jack, Amanda, and family We are so sorry for your loss. I remember when Jack used to work at SWSD as a bus driver and he would tell us how he took care of his wife. He loved her alot. Praying for your peace.
