I was a member of the band from 1988-1991 and knew Dan to always be smiling and happy and joyful. He was a reason coming to practice was fun in addition to his talents and helping make the band look wonderful. We were a very lucky bunch of kids. I am grateful God graced our lives with Dan.

My dearest Dan, I still cannot believe that you are gone. It seems so surreal to me. You and I have been friends since freshman year in marching band. That is a long time. You were my dance partner, my counselor & someone who could make me laugh like no one else. I love you & I miss you. I will not forget our last few conversations, you were so positive!!! I loved how you never gave up & you told me to never settle in my life. You said go out and do your best and enjoy life. In your honor, that's what I will do! I know that heaven has gained a really special angel, hug Diane and Michelle extra tight for me. Well you have two color guard and a flute! See what you can do with that! Sending much love and condolences to Lee and Mr and Mrs Bair.......may your memories comfort you and know that he is not longer in pain, but peace. ❤️ Until I see you again Dan. Much love from Annette

Ben and Violet, my thoughts and prayers are with you! Dan was such an amazing, loving, caring man and my heart just aches that he is no longer here on earth. I truly loved him like a brother. He was there for me in so many good times and when bad times came he somehow always knew how to make me laugh. I remember times when we would laugh so hard we would come to tears! Music was something that connected us and I will always remember the times we shared singing together. I'm so grateful that I had the privilege of knowing him. I know in my heart he is singing with the angels in heaven!! I love you Dan!!
