My Uncle Frank had a wonderful sense of humor, was gracious and kind to all he met, and took wonderful care of my Aunt Mary. He made her very happy. I remember when visiting as a child, he would throw me in the air and catch me as a greeting and farewell. I used to kid him by asking that he continue to do so when I reach adulthood. Even as his health declined, he never complained, choosing instead to talk of his military duty, travels, relate stories from his work, or discuss current events. I will miss him, and my life is better for having him as my uncle.
