Christine E. “Teenie” Hagarman, 79, of McSherrystown, entered into God’s eternal care Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. She was the wife of Donald G. Hagarman to whom she was married 56 years. Born December 27, 1936 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Louis E. and Evelyn M. (Hippensteel) Weaver. Christine was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in McSherrystown. She was a 1954 graduate of New Oxford High School. She enjoyed the beach, bird watching, her swimming pool and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband are five children; Brent Hagarman of New Oxford, Gregory Hagarman and his wife Kathy of Hanover, Mindy Millheim and her husband Lonnie, Douglas Hagarman all of McSherrystown, and Patrick Hagarman and his wife Stacey of Hanover; nine grandchildren, Mark, Amanda, Eric, Erica, Tyler, Ryan, Samantha, Alissa and Emma; two great-grandchildren, Khloe and Hayden, four siblings; Merle Weaver and his wife Jan, Stephen Weaver and his wife Toni all of Mcsherrystown, Pamela Shoff and her husband Brad of Dover and Scott Weaver and his wife Michelle of Myrtle Beach, SC. She was preceded in death by a step-son Stephen Hagarman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 at Annunciation Church in McSherrystown with Rev. Charles L. Persing as celebrant. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Avenue McSherrystown, with a prayer service held at 4pm. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
