Charlotte V. Hagerman

Charlotte V. Hagerman, 97, of McSherrystown, entered into God’s eternal care, Sunday, January 24, 2016 at her home. Born October 12, 1918 in McSherrystown, she was the daughter of Francis and Gertrude (Gallagher) Hagerman. Charlotte was retired from Middleburg Manufacturing Co. in Hanover. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in McSherrystown and a 1936 graduate of the former Central Catholic High School in McSherrystown. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five siblings: Joseph Hagerman, Loretta Birgensmith, Gertrude Snyder, Rosemarie Bowman and Francis “Rocky” Hagerman Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Annunciation Church in McSherrystown with Rev. Charles L. Persing as celebrant. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown. Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, with a prayer service at 8 pm. Contributions in memory of Charlotte may be made to Annunciation Church Memorial Fund, 26 N. Third St. McSherrystown, PA 17344 or VNA/Hospice, 440 N. Madison Street Hanover, PA 17331.

I'll miss you Aunt Charlotte :(. I remember making fries, playing house, feeding the birds, and chasing the cats. You loved your eyebrows, hated how white people's teeth were, and you always said what was on your mind. I miss you, and I love you.
