Grew up down the street from Jack. He was 12 years my senior. I would see him when I stopped for a snowball from Steve or Chris. His first year of teaching at St. Joes he was my fifth grade teacher. Will always remember . RIP Jack.

Dear Winnie, Denny, and Nicky and Families Our sincerest sympathy to all of you. Jack was a great colleague and friend, and Gary and I always enjoyed camping trips with your family. We have many fond memories of evenings around the campfire and Jack's great sense of humor. We can still remember him grilling asparagus from your garden and sausage (over a flaming oil drum) late in the evening. Jack was a very caring person who loved helping others, and we regret that he did not have more time on earth to continue doing that. We will miss him! We pray for God's continuing presence with you as you grieve. Love, Roberta (Bobbi) and Gary Biesecker

Winnie & Family, I was so shocked and sad to hear that Jack passed away. I have great memories of the years we spent visiting and tagging along on some of your trips. Very fun times at the shore when we went and got to watch Jack in action carving some great wooden gems he could make. I also remember the 1st time ever I went camping, we got a cabin while you guys had the camper. I still remember when at the fire ring I had a brilliant idea to keep the fire going. The paper started flying away all lit up. Jack never raised his voice, I could see the look in his eyes of how can one (me) be so dumb. I thought I was going to burn down the entire campground. He said it would be ok, but I knew what he was thinking!! Also we spent many time at Ryans Buffet(loved that place) and the great Christmas parties you had at your house. I appreciated every bit of time I spent with you all. Jack was a wonderful man!!! May God bless Jack and watch over all you guys during this difficult time!! Love and peace to you, Mark Rose Pittsburgh, Pa
