Jennifer L. Dori, 46, of McSherrystown, was carried away on the wings of angels on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at her home. Born June 20, 1973 in Omaha NE, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (McConnell) Dori. Jen was employed as the Director of Nursing at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews and her son and daughter-in-law. Surviving is a son, Isaac C. Dori and wife Brianna of McSherrystown; four siblings, Gerald Dori of Hanover, John Dori of Hanover, Jessica Fink and husband Brian of Hanover, and Stephen Dori of McSherrystown; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Avenue, McSherrystown, with Pastor Robin Keating officiating. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Littlestown. Relatives and friends will be received 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on January 11, 2020 at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Jen may be made to the American Heart Association, 4250 Crums Mill Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112.

Such a loss to this world, but a gain to Heaven. My sincerest sympathies to Jenn's family. I can only imagine your shock and grief. She was a very special lady, and the best neighbor I could ever ask for. I will be praying for peace and comfort at this difficult time.

You passed away way too young and way too soon. I pray for the family. You were a mother to my Bestfriend Brianna. We will miss you a lot. We all love you momma Dori. Rest easy up there.

My deepest condolescences to wonderful co worker who had her best intentions forward who welcomed me when i first started guided and help me grow in my work relatuonship by putting our best effort together for the patience we care for first. She wss a wonderful co worker friend and she will be greatly missed but not forgotten. Thank you for your best shown to all of us. God Bless you.

Sending love and prayers for the Dori family. As i type here I find this so hard to believe your no longer with us. You have given me many heartfelt conversations and gave me strength and inspiration to carry on as a mother doing my best for my children. I idolized you and am greatful to have gotten a chance to have known you. May you rest easy sweet one.

Deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences go out to the Dori family. A beautiful soul inside and out is gone WAY to soon. Jenn will be greatly missed but always loved. I will think of her often-always with a smile on my face!

My deepest sympathy to the family. I have had the pleasure of working with Jenn it feels like our whole life! She was wonderful boss and a wonderful friend. The one sounding board for all of us wether it was work related or personal. She will be forever missed by many. Cannot imagine everyday without you. Rest easy dear friend.
